 "works good" 2009-07-05
By Carla Morrow
The case protects the PSP from getting scratch up very well. I have two boys and they both have PSP's and they both have these cases and have no scratches thanks to these cases.

I dont know what is wrong , but the case is absolutely un-useful

"Perfect protection for the PSP Slim" 2009-05-30
By B. Neugebauer (TX, USA)
Provides great protection for the entire PSP, including the screen. Note that it is for the PSP Slim, not the older, thicker PSP. I originally bought it for my daughter who has the older PSP, and it did not work. My granddaughter has the new slim PSP and it works GREAT for her.

"wrong part shipped to me" 2009-05-23

 "VER BAD PRODUCT..." 2009-03-06
By Arthur Ewig (Ventura County, CA)
Eforcity is a great seller. A+. smooth transactions and very fast shipping, BUT this product is the worst, pictures are real nice here, but the final product is badly manufactured and very uncomforable for real players, it is great if you want to put your psp away and nothing will happen to it, but playing with it is awefull ! NOT RECOMMMENDED !!! the best cover or case for the psp while playing is the silicone ones !

 "Disappointing" 2009-08-15
By Crankyhobo (Seattle, WA)
A few things they dont tell you

1) the speakers have a standard mini audio connector with a 5mm->USB adapter which is about an inch and a bit in length. This is disappointing because i wanted to plug the speakers into my keyboard or monitor which have USB outlets and this is too large and unsightly for that.

2) The cable is a nasty tangly sticky clear wire style very thin wire, im sure youve seen this kind before it is contributes to a wire rats nest very easily.

3) Sound quality is poor, overpoweringly strong sound in the high ranges with weak mid-range obviously almost no bass (considering the price and size you would have to expect the bass problem). The simulated 7.1 is a gimmick.

If you intend to listen to any music at all, dont buy it.

 "Decent sound, cheap price" 2009-08-03

Nothing spectacular about the sound. It's adequate. can't expect too much bass from such a small size.

It uses USB cable, so no power cord is needed.

"Awesome Speakers, Great Sound Quality and Volume" 2009-02-11
By Beth Mcdermott
These speakers are great. They are nice looking and compact, and they offer great sound quality. I bought them mainly for volume, since my laptop's speakers aren't very loud. They add a great deal of volume while maintaining a high level of sound quality.

"For the price point, I can not complain." 2009-01-31
By Edmund P. Mcbride (lincoln,ca)
These speakers are just what they claim to be. A small portable speaker, at a very low price. These are not hi fi speakers. A little painful to the ears for long listening, turn these down real low while studying for background music. They kind of make you cring after a while. The speakers come with a usb dongle, its a usb sound card. I connected my speakers to a ubuntu linux os; no problems, after a few setting adjustments. Unbuntu apps used the usb sound card. If you want better sound I would suggest a 2.1 system with full range. I have a set of other speakers that are thx certified for good solid flat response across the full frequency range, but they cost a lot more money are are not portable. Regardless of the quality of sound, these speaker met my expectations:cheap, portable, durable, and they emit noise.

Cons: only mids or higher range, no sound stage, no lows; nothing below 80 hz.

"sound is clear, but very shallow and weak" 2008-12-29
By Elizabeth Timmer (Michigan)
I just received these today. They worked right out of the box. Windows XP recognized them without any problems. They work. The sound is clear, but very shallow and weak. These speakers have absolutely no depth. They're almost as bad as my sub-par laptop speakers. I give them two stars because they actually DO work and the speakers are attractive looking. They'd work all right for travel, but for full-time every day speakers... I want something that actually has some depth.

The nice thing is that they come with a speaker jack usb adapter that I can plug my OLD speakers into and use in my usb port, which solves the problem that lead me to wanting to replace my old ones in the first place. My old $20 creative labs speakers sound like gold compared to the samsung pleomax ones I just bought.

Since I paid less for my old ones and after two years, they still sound better than these, I can't even say that these are good for being cheapie speakers. They're crappy.

"It's like mini PSP armor." 2009-06-27
By B. Kemper
I had my doubts about this when I bought it, but it's turned out to be very useful.

It fits over the psp like a glove (and it doesn't scratch the psp!) and after about three months all the scratches that could have ruined my PSP were evident, so it obviously works.

Pros:

1. Slim; so it doesn't look ridiculous.

2. Little door in the back makes it so you don't have to take the whole case off to load a game in the cartridge.

3. It covers the screen!

Cons:

1. The latch that keeps the door in the back closed broke on one side after a while, but it still closes.

2. It truly does take damage, which is the whole point, but I'm sure in four more months I'll have to buy a new one.
